Fire broke out in the hills of Malibu and the Santa Clarita Valley, California areas back in October of 2007. It was all over the local news. For some reason, the smoke-filled sky under the sun fascinated me.
It was something about the red sky that day; the occasion wasn’t something to smile about but I tried to find the beauty in it all. The sun. The redness of the sky…it was beautiful to me.
I submitted the photo to the local news and there it was…on the news channel site in a flash…for all to see.
Fire.
Oh the joys of laughter! I think we’d look at life a lot differently if we hung up about 25 photo snaps of ourselves in the height of our laughter on our wall, lol.
If we would just take the time to look at those happy photos everyday, we would quickly forget about all the negativity that we have encountered in our lives — past and present. Happy thoughts are good, and sometimes is great to laugh ’till you have to darn near go to the bathroom on yourself…or until your rib cage starts to hurt — whichever comes first.
When was the last time you heard a good joke? Do you remember the last time you had a good laugh? I mean, a REALLY GOOD one?
